About
Welcome to Kebab House - Chamberi, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Madrid at C. de Melendez Valdes, 67. This charming establishment has become a beloved destination for kebab enthusiasts, and it’s easy to see why. With a dedication to serving authentic flavors and a cozy atmosphere, Kebab House is redefining what a kebab can be.
Visitors are greeted with the tantalizing aroma of perfectly grilled meat, with reviews praising the quality of their dishes. One patron, Sashikala Babu, raved that it was "hands down the best kebab we had in our life." The secret to their success lies in the meticulous preparation: tender meat that boasts a crispy exterior and a spicy sauce that elevates the flavor profile. The personal touch from the owner, who plays multiple roles—from chef to bartender—ensures each guest receives attentive service, making every visit a memorable experience.
What sets Kebab House apart is its use of veal, a unique twist that some customers, like Vytas Bakanas, found different yet delightful. Although opinions on the garlic sauce and temperature vary, the consistent feedback is that this kebab joint stands out among its competitors. Whether you prefer your kebab with a fiery kick or a milder touch, they are more than willing to accommodate your preferences.
For those who appreciate the charm of outdoor dining, Kebab House offers lovely seating arrangements that enhance the overall experience. Regulars like Lucia M are drawn back by the delectable kebabs and the warmth of the staff. Despite some critiques regarding spice levels, the overall consistency and quality keep fans returning for more.
Lastly, there’s a nostalgia attached to Kebab House - it is celebrated as the "oldest and most pure kebab place in Madrid," where you can experience the true essence of traditional kebabs made with real meat and a yogurt-based white sauce. This authenticity resonates with both locals and tourists alike.
In summary, Kebab House - Chamberi is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in exceptional kebabs. Its blend of quality, service, and unique offerings ensures that you will leave satisfied and eager to return. Just a friendly reminder: remember to bring cash, as they do not accept cards!
“ Kebabs are great, but the spicy is lacking in spice and I have had better kebabs elsewhere but theses are still delicious. The outdoor seating is very nice and the staff is all amazing. Have eaten here multiple times and they are consistent. Would recommend. ”
“ Quite nice for a kebab place. The kebab was different than I'm used to. They use veal instead of beef or chicken. The kebab had a bit too much garlic sauce for my liking, next time I'd ask them to make it with a bit less. The kebab was also a bit cold when I got it, but I'm sure they're freshly made, just maybe the other ingredients are kept a bit too cold. Overall I'd say it's worthy of it's rating and is definitely far above the regular Madrid kebab place. ”
“ It was very good and delicious, only the bread was not toasted, but in general, I suggest you to come once, the buttermilk is delicious and most importantly, it has good prices. This restaurant is also halal and you can easily use its meat ”
“ Hands down the best kebab we had in our life. The meat was so tender inside and crispy outside. The spicy sauce added lot more flavor to the kebab. The owner/ chef/ bar tender did a great job by attending to the customers quicker. We visited this place twice and we had a great experience both the time. They take only cash here. ”
“ The oldest and most pure kebab place in Madrid. You can get the original kebab with real meat and white sauce made with yogurt ”
“ Nice kebab, ordered 2 with spicy voith time made normal, and one was realy great second was not so, as I think depend who makes them. ”
“ The food was simply amazing. However, the Latina girl who works there doesn’t seem suited for this type of job—she doesn’t really know how to treat customers the way a waitress should. Otherwise, my friends and I would still be eating here, because, as I said, the food is incredible. Thanks. ”
